Shipping Policy

Below are some common shipping questions and points of clarity.  If you have other questions, feel free to reach out to us at info@vortexgames.ca

1. When will my order ship?

We endeavour to have all orders picked and processed within 1 to 3 business days of receipt of the order.  This time frame could be longer during peak seasons such as Black Friday or mid-December.

2. When will be In-Store Pickup order be ready?

Much like orders for shipment, in-store pickup orders will be ready within 1 to 3 days.  You will receive an email when it is ready to be picked up.  If someone else will be picking it up, please designate them by name in the order notes.

3. Shipping with Canada

We offer various shipping options through Canada Post to most addresses in Canada. We also offer free shipping on orders over $200 within most of Canada. See Section 5 for exclusions to this.

4. Shipping to the US

We do ship to most addresses in the United States, however some items may be geo-restricted by their production companies such as Sealed Magic: The Gathering products, and Games Workshop miniatures.  These policies are outside of our control, and therefore exceptions cannot be made.

We are note responsible for any customs, duties or other fees due to the order entering the United States.

5. Remote/Oversized Shipping Exceptions

In some cases, additional shipping charges may be required for remote locations or for oversized items.  We will contact you at the email address or phone number on your account to arrange payment for the discrepancy.  At this time you are able to cancel your order without any issue.

6. Damaged order or missing items

Should you receive an order that is missing items, or has been damaged in shipment, please call us at 506-939-8300 or email at info@vortexgames.ca.  Please note that damage to an order using "Magic Singles Only - No Insurance, No Tracking" as the selected shipping option (aka basic letter mail) is not covered under this policy.  Vortex Games takes no responsibility for any lost or damaged items.  Please choose an insured shipping method to be covered.

7. Shipping on Returns

We do not cover the cost of shipping on returns.  For further information, please see our Sales and Refund Policy.

8. Pre-orders

Orders with Pre-Order items on them will ship complete once the Pre-Order's release date has been reached.

9. Quantity & Order Adjustment

We reserve the right to adjust the quantities of products ordered. These decisions will be made on a case by case basis and you will be notified of any changes made to your order. This pertains to and is not limited to "buyouts" and other orders involving the sale of high demand products. If an order is deemed to be for resale purposes it may also be subject to a potential adjustment.
